Determining your membership level
We mentioned earlier that there are 10 different tiers of membership to the rewards program. Your level of membership is determined by how many status points you have accumulated.
If you are playing a cash game every dollar you contribute in rake, you will earn two status points. In addition, you can also earn two Status Points for every $1 you pay in tournament fees. Finally, if you decide you want to try out some of the games in the 888 Casino, you’ll earn an extra status point for every $16 you bet in the casino.
You can have your membership upgraded on any day of the month with your new status your’s until the end of the next calendar month. So if you’re upgraded on January 10, you will remain at your new level until February 30.

As shown in the above table, there are several levels of VIP membership that can be reached. The moment you earn enough status points to reach a VIP status you will remain at the same level for a full year. So if you were upgraded on January 10, 2014, your level would remain at the same level until January 30 2015.

Earning and spending rewards points at 888 Poker
To begin earning rewards points at 888 Poker it’s as simple as downloading the software and creating a new account.
From that moment, anytime you are playing a cash game or tournament you will be earning rewards points. Rewards points are earned at a rate corresponding with the status level of your rewards membership. Obviously the higher your status level is the more rewards points you earn.

Status points on 888 Poker
888 Poker loyalty program has 10 separate VIP statuses, that you will be able to achieve by the results of your games within one calendar month. The amount of your status points earned determines your VIP status within the loyalty program (rewards). The more status points you will earn, the higher your status will be. As soon as you will earn the number of points required, you will be assigned a new, higher VIP level, which will remain until the end of next calendar month. How do you know how much points you have earned?
During the real money games on 888 Poker tables you will be able to monitor how much status points have you earned via the points meter, that can be found in the bottom left corner of the screen.

The amount of status and rewards points earned can be seen at any time on your personal ‘My Rewards’ page. To do so, you have to click on your status image in the main lobby of the poker-room, or click on ‘My Rewards’ in ‘My Profile’ menu.
You can track the amount of your status points with two different point meters:
Monthly status meter: indicates the number of status points earned in 888 Poker, that are used to acquire the higher monthly status. The value of this meter is reset on the 1st day of every month, after which the status point count starts from zero.
But remember, that when the monthly status meter is reset at the beginning of every month, that’s in no way affects the amount of your rewards points. The rewards points will be transferred to the next month.
Yearly status meter: lets you track the amount of status points earned in 888 Poker, that are used to acquire VIP and VIP Diamond yearly statuses. The value of this meter is stored and accumulated throughout the whole calendar year. It is reset only once a year, on the 1st of January, when the yearly status point count starts from scratch.
